Autumn Snyder was the daughter of the popular and well-known director Zack Snyder, she was born on November 27, 1996, in China. She was one of the most inspirational personalities in the world. Autumn was adopted by the famous director Zack Snyder and his wife Denise Weber when she was only one year old as per reports.
After being adopted she was brought to Pasadena, California, and there she was raised and grew up with Snyder’s other children. As she was adopted by a famous director she was living a very comfortable life. But according to various sources, she developed mental health as she grew up, and unfortunately, when she was 20 years old she committed suicide on March 12, 2017.
In today’s article, we will be talking about Autumn Snyder and we will explore more about her life and try to know her better.
Early Life OF Autumn Snyder
As mentioned above she was born in November 1996, in China and later adopted by Zack Snyder and his wife Denise Weber. After being adopted she lived and grew up with Snyder’s other seven children. Our sources tell that she was a really good student and she studied in Sarah Lawrence College, a private college located in Yonkers, New York, United States.
I mentioned above that she was really inspirational that is because, in the year 2014, she inaugurated “Write A Throne Charity” and its mission was to help homeless mothers not only that but she was also involved in “The Elizabeth House” which is also known as “Family Hope” it is a non-profitable charity organization which shelters pregnant women and their children as there are many who are living in poverty and many face homelessness every year. They help provide others with physical, financial, and emotional support.
Autumn was also a very productive writer, she was also trying to publish the sci-fi novel that she wrote but before she could publish her novel she killed herself. The novel is yet to be published but we believe her family will publish it for her.
Why Did She Commit Suicide?
According to her father Zack Snyder, growing up she was the only child who had his passion for superheroes, aliens, and monsters. She was struggling with depression and they would often talk about her condition, she was taking medicine and had also been in therapy but still, she was not able to make her condition any better.
Zack Snyder stated that she always wondered what her worth asking, “what is my worth?” “What am I about?” and “What am I supposed to do?”, and Zack would always say you are amazing and you are more than anything in this world and you are immeasurable to which she would answer “yeah.”
She was battling with depression and she even wrote it down in words, in the novel she wrote there is a character that has trouble fitting in according to her family. And in her other works, the main characters are always battling with things that are from another dimension. Zack said that “it was the battle that was happening to her. Many people are in that battle smiling”. This is really true too many people are fighting with the devil inside them and they keep a fake smile on their face to hide it from everyone else but they are dying inside.
On 2017, March 12 she lost her battle with depression, and she took her own life. Obviously, as a caring family, everybody was shocked and they grieved for her. Autumn’s death to raise awareness about suicide prevention. Fans collected and raised over half a million dollars for the “American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.” As for how she really died there is no information and there are also no police reports that show how she took her life.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League Was Remodeled For Autumn
In 2017 Zack was finalizing the movie Justice League but sad news came and the news was about her daughter Autumn, she had committed suicide and because of the tragedy he left his work to greave for her daughter and to be with his family who needed him cause they were all having a very hard time.
Zack left his work to Joss Whedon who’s a director from another universe a rival of DC, Marvel. Joss left Marvel after working on two movies, and he did not start from where Zack left but he rewrote and remade the movie according to the demand of “Warner Bros.”
After knowing that fans were really angry and they demanded the release of Zack’s version of Justice League, it was not that easy but fans were not giving up they started a campaign #SynderCut and it became global, after the intense pressure by the fans all over the world Warner Bros give up and his work was again handed over to him.
Zack left the work because he wanted to be with family to grieve for her daughter but there is also a report that tells there were internal differences and disputes between Zack and Warners.
In 2021 the movie was released and it was 4 hours 2 minutes long and the movie was inspired by Zack’s lovely daughter Autumn. Justice League Snyder Cut has loss and grief as the main theme and the reason for that is Zack had lost his daughter and he was grieving.
Also, the end of the movie “For Autumn” word can be seen and the movie ends with the song Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen as a tribute to her daughter Autumn Snyder.
Her Height, Weight & Relation Status
There is no information about her height or her weight, but judging by the pictures she has an average height and weight. She was a beautiful young woman with dark hair and black eyes.
There are people who even think that she was married but no that is not true at all she was only 20 years old when she took her life and at the time she was single but there is no information if she had been in a relationship before that. If she had been alive then she would have been 24 years old now, it’s really sad that we lost such a nice person at a very young age.
