Elon Musk’s Short Biography

Talking about his early life, Musk was born to a Canadian mother and a south African father. He was raised in South Africa. At the age of 17, he moved to Canada and attended the Queen’s University.

After that, he transferred to the University of Pennsylvania. This is where he received two bachelor’s degree at once. He majored in Economics and Physics.

After his undergrad studies, he attended the Stanford University but instead, Elon decided to take a career in business.

He had web software company Zip2 with his brother Kimbal. The startup was later acquired by Compaq for around $300 Million in 1999. Musk also co-founded an online bank called X.com. This merged with Confinity to form the company Paypal. PayPal was later bought by eBay for a billion dollars.

After selling PayPal, Musk could have chilled his entire life. He had more money than most people but he did not. Instead, He became the founder of SpaceX and then started space transport services. Elon is the CEO, CTO and lead designer of this company.

In the year 2004, he also joined Tesla Motors. A company that produces electric vehicles. He became the product Architect of this company and later it’s CEO.

Two years later, Tesla helped create SolarCity and later he also founded OpenAI. Then in 2016, he co-founded Neuralink.

Why is Elon Musk considered a genius?

As you might have seen, Elon Musk just gives us companies after companies after companies. This is why a lot of people like him. He is a visionary.

Musk has always been criticized for his vision though. People always tend to say that he thinks like an Alien and that would be true. His views on world events, Artificial Intelligence and the world in general is not normal in anyway.  This is why a lot of people want to know what his IQ is.

Elon Musk has an IQ of 155. IQ can change with each test and while we don’t know if 155 is the exact IQ of Elon, it is estimated that his abilities are worth around 155 points in the IQ Test.

Elon has certainly done a job worthy of that IQ. He has made some pretty smart business decisions over the years. He was also a prodigy. Elon was selling code in the early 1980s. Musk made one after another smart business decision.

What is Intelligence Quotient (IQ)?

IQ is a score that is calculated after you give a standardized test. The test is normally a multiple choice question test.

In the IQ Test, the base IQ is 100. So, every person in the world has 100 points before you even begin the test.

Once you complete the test, your IQ can go up or down depending on the score on your test. You can have an IQ of 75 or you can get an IQ of 130 or 180 even.

The Average IQ of a person really depends on their surroundings and the way they were raised.

If we have to take the average of USA, it is 98. Similarly, Hong Kong has an average of 108. So, it is more dependent on various factions.
