Raqhid Jevon Render, who was widely known and popular as Lil Keed died on May 13, 2022. He died in Los Angeles, California, United States. He was a rising hip-hop artist and songwriter, he was signed to YSL Records whose founder and owner are Young Thug. Furthermore, he was also signed to 300 Entertainment.

He is popular for his songs like “Fox 5, snake, nameless, and Balenciaga.” In 2019 he released his first studio album “Long Live Mexico”

Lil Keed’s death cause

The news of his death was confirmed by his record label representative however, they did not open up about the rapper’s cause of death. But still, as per the TMZ, Lil Keed was once a drug and alcohol addict and a few days before his death he complained about severe stomach ache and immediately went for a check-up at L.A. hospital.

After the check-up, the result came out and sources have said that Keed’s kidneys and liver begin failing, and eventually the failure of his organs caused Keed’s death. It is said that the officials of Los Angeles will be doing an autopsy this week.

Born on March 16, 1998, Keed was only 24 years old at the time of his death.

Lil Keed had a daughter

Keed had three years old daughters named Naychur whose mother is a rapper’s ex-girlfriend named Quana Bandz. After the sudden death of Keed, his baby mama was heartbroken and she shared various memories of the rapper. Furthermore, Naychur has an Instagram account, and since she is just three years old we believe that her mother handles her account.

Furthermore, Quana also revealed that she is pregnant with Keed’s baby and she also posted a video of their daughter and wrote,

“SMH my baby daddy made this song after our break up im sorry I left you KEED IM SORRY we knew WE was meant to be with each other because we made our way back with each other months later and Deaded df out of our situations Just to be back Together. YOU THE AIR I BREATHE IM YOUR AIR. Daddy I love you baby WE NEED YOU DADDY. Lil Keed was scheduled to perform

Keed was supposed to perform at the Daze in a Blue music festival in Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday but unfortunately, the rapper passed away before he could perform. His sudden death left all his fans and family in shock. His brother Semaja Zair Render, a popular rapper Lil Gotit also shared a tribute on his social media account.

“Can’t believe I seemed u die today bro I did all my cries I know what u want me to do and that’s going hard for Mama Daddy Our Brothers Naychur and Whiteboy,” Lil Gotit wrote in the captions.

Young Stoner Life also shared that Keed’s “Trapped on Cleveland 2” mixtape which was released in 2018 became the roadway for the rapper to climb to the hip-hop scene in Atlanta. His mixtape also got him a deal with Young Stoner Life Records the same year. Various other artists including Ty Dolla Sign, Travis Barker, Murda Beatz, and others paid tribute to the late rapper.

Keed was a talented young rapper whose song “Nameless” even went to Billboard Hip Hop/R&B Songs Airplay chart’s number 42. Keed has collaborated with various famous artists including Lil Uzi Vert, YNW Melly, Young Thug, Chris Brown, Travis Scott, Future, and more.

He has mentioned that he started rapping seriously after his friend or his buddy Rudy was killed when he was very young. Moreover, when he was asked who he’s inspired from he told the Fader that Young Thug really inspired him and he added,

‘Folks be telling me like, “You remind us of Thug.” So, I know I’m doing something right. He made it out the same exact spot I’m in. Walking the same streets, doing the same things. It just means I have to perfect my craft big time ‘cause I know who I’m up under.’

Lil Keed defended Young Thug

In May 2022 the authorities said that YSL is a criminal gang because the record label and its owner Young Thug were involved in not only drug dealing but they were also involved in robberies and murders. However, Keed was not convicted of any of the above.
