Julie has been acting for over 20 years and starred in several movies, TV series, and theater productions. One of her most popular roles was on the soap opera General Hospital where she played a nurse named Veronica Falconeri which lasted nine seasons.

In 1994, when she was 15 years old, Julie had gotten into a car accident that caused permanent scarring beneath her eye near the temple area—the result of being hit by flying glass created during the collision between two cars. The actor also sustained more serious injuries including fractures to both her hip and arm but recovered quickly.

Who is Julie Gonzalo?

Julie was born in Los Angeles, California to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother. Julie attended Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, CA graduating from the school’s drama program. She studied theatre arts at UCLA before dropping out during her sophomore year to pursue acting full time.

She also has two siblings: sister Katherine Gonzalo (born 1986) who is an actress as well; brother Jamin Anthony “Tony” Gonzalo Jr., (born 1981).

Julie’s first acting job was at age of 14 in a commercial for Kool-Aid. She then went on to star as Isabelle Tyler, daughter of Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) and Eric Forrester’s niece from his first marriage, on the soap opera The Bold And The Beautiful beginning in 1991 until 1995 when she left GH with one year remaining on her contract to pursue other projects before returning as Dr. Kelly Lee Fleming in 2015-2016 then again this past summer 2017

After starting out with small roles such as Lindsay Lohan’s friend on The Parent Trap remake, she began undertaking more significant roles when cast alongside Alicia Silverstone for the 2002 comedy Down To You which led to playing one of America’s favorite high school students Tamara “Taj” Johnson-George in the UPN TV series Girlfriends from 2003 to 2005. She also appeared in other shows like In Too Deep and was voted Miss Golden Globe 2005 at the Golden Globes Awards

She’s had a long career as an actress and voiceover artist, but she is probably most known for being the star of ABC Family’s “Ravenswood.” Her first major role was on CBS’ “Supernatural” before it went off the air in 2010.

This show led to her casting as Cassie Blake on The CW series “The Secret Circle,” which ran from 2011 until 2012. In 2013, Julie landed another starring role when she became Maggie Bennet on Freeform’s hit show “Switched at Birth.”

Now that this family drama has ended its run after five successful seasons, Julie will be moving onto other acting projects like playing Liz on “Blindspot.”
